I have a home made DVDR that someone made of a TV series. One of the menu links doesn't work.
Is it possible to extract the entire DVD onto my hard drive, then repair the menu? I like their menu setup and would like to keep it. I know that I could always just extract the videos and make my own.
Any ideas would be helpful.

Yes, you would need to re-author the DVD to do so. That is not a fun process (depending on how complex the navigation is). See the authoring guides to the left.
Doitfast4u might be a good choice to rip everything into seperate files rior to re-authoring (see teh guides at doom9.org).
