Hi all,
I have not been able to convert Xvid to vcd, tried all methods recommended. (Wav audio, Vdub mp3 freeze, Vdub, panasonic encoder, tmpgenc, avidefreezer, increasing Vfapi for directshow, unchecking sse box matrix etc) Can't get any to work.
I have seen a forum message that says use fourcc changer to DivX, so i have done this. But it then says use ffdshow in Tmgenc, i have downloaded ffdshow, but tmpgenc still uses directshow, can anybody tell me how i get it to use ffdshow please, do i have to uncheck the directshow box. And will it work if i do. Always get illegal floating decimal point calculation, but have masked bad frames and still get it, it is random and i only have a 500mHz chip so it takes me 3 hrs to encode half a film, so i leave it over night or while im at work, but when i come back it has stopped after 10 minutes or an hour aaargh!!!
Be very grateful for any help, i am a newbie, and i have spent weeks reading forums etc and trying different methods to no avail.
