  1. Any new rumors or the like with dead media?

I have heard that some types of media die after a few months and some don't... yet nothing lately about it.

I always use Ritek discs, no matter what.

  3. You should keep your DVD's in good storage, at least in a paper sleeve or something. But, yea i think its the Princo's. You aren't the first one to have degradetion issues with Princo's.

  5. sorry to hear you lost all of those movies....

I heard about this media problem in another forum on another website many months ago... and now only Princo seems to have this problem. No other brands have been reported to degrade over time.

I am just glad I stuck with Ritek media!
