Backing up Biker Boys dvd. When i play the original dvd in my computer and select DTS sound the movie begins to skip, play in fast forward then back to normal speed. As soon as i switch it to DD5.1 then it plays fine with sound. Has anyone experienced this?

No I haven't but then again I used an entirely different method than the one your described so that most likely is the difference.

what kind of soundcard do u have?
are u changing any other setting of your comp that will allow dts? -
Looking at your profile, your computer is too slow to do full screen DVD and full DTS audio. If it doesn't skip on the 5.1 track, that's probably it. I suspect you are doing the DTS via software, and there's a lot of overhead involved in that. Particulary cheap sound cards, that do everything in software anyway.

What if i went ahead and burned that video_ts file? would it be burnt jerky and sporatic? I did Old School too and it did the same when i switched to DTS.

u can burn dts no problem
if it is what Gazorgan says
u will have playback problems, not recording
