Made my home video onto DVD with TS_Video, etc but Nero Burn

Nero 5.++++ using a UDF/ISO works but not so well. Is there any other softwares I can use to burn the TS_VIDEO, TS_AUDIO files making it more compatible instead of sometimes it reads and sometimes it doesn't. I got Sonic My DVD from the Pioneer A05 Writer... what is the most easiest and fastest way to write to DVDR and play on any DVD player... as it is a home wedding shot I took for a friend and need to distribute to several of his family members with all types of DVD players [Stand Alone]

You can use a program called ImgTool (classic version). This program will make an image file from your VIDEO_TS folder. It works very well. After it creates the image file you simply burn it with DVD Decrypter (in ISO mode). This works much better at making a compatable DVD in the end than using NERO which sucks doneky balls at DVD burning.

You can find a link to ImgTool on this website but that leads you to a foriegn language site so better to get it from the downloads section of the doom9 website as clicking on that link will download the file directly. Please be sure to get the CLASSIC version.

Thanks and appreciate so much for helping me... French are particular in their "Family" thing... as even though it is free.. a gift o Martin and his wife... hope it works. As I have tried with Nero before and the DVD just keeps spinning and like 3-4 mins later it only played. Will Imgtool be that as well ?

First I would try to play the VIDEO_TS folder with a software DVD player on your PC. If everything check outs (menus, links, chapters, play, etc). Then it should be safe to burn.

I burn all my home authored DVDs with IMGTools/DVD Decrypter. You can d/load both at: http://www.doom9.org

Nero is very hit and miss. Some verisons work, others do not. The most recent verison does work (or so people report I refuse to use it ) so you might want to go to aheads url and d/load the newest verison and see if that helps/works too.

Thank you so much again... I hav tried many and finally my colleague photographer told me about here. Thanks... going to be a busy day again. I hate family video thing.. free yet so much complains.
