I have a Sony DRY500A. And when i am ripping some DVDs the drive will get part way through it and just freezes.
I am using dvd decrypter and the read speed will just go to (0.0x) and time counter will just keep on counting.
I have put another DVD drive in this computer just to test and see if it was the dvd or the drive. And the other one will rip it just fine. Why is that one drive will freeze up and the other one will not. I would just keep the one that works in this computer but i have to put it back from the one it came from. Any ideas on why my new sony drive will just stop ripping the DVD.
Thanks, DEvo
