  1. i was just wondering what program people use for ripping cd's?
    i use musicmatch, but thats all i use it for and its a pain cuz it has pop-ups and bullshit...

    I use cdex (http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/). Can rip to WAV, MP3 (with lame), and Ogg Vorbis. Also does CDDB lookups.

    i use my mp3pro

    but musicmatch 8.0 plus($20.00 morethan free basic) is far superior than most $100.00 recording programs

    shoot u can use it to brn dvd if u know what u are doing

    CDEX mostly - and EAC occationaly. Plextools is fine for those stubborn "protected" CDs if you're luck enough to have a Plextor drive.
