Is there a guide for CVD?

I am looking for a guide for how to author a CVD. I didn't see one in the How To section. Maybe someone knows of a web site with a guide. Or, is it just like creating a small DVD? I think I can manage that, but I prefer to follow a guide. Any help would be appreciated.
