Some subtitles are just too *&*&%^*& BIG!! I just can't stand it. I"m currently using VirtualDub & vobsob to make subtitles. It seems that i can change the color of the subtitles, is there a way to make the subtitles abit smaller? Please let me know!

So is your sub file .ssa?
Try openning that .ssa file in MaestroSBT and play with it in there. I believe what you want is to press the 'Timing' button and set the frame rate for IN and OUT. Then use the 'Edit & Preview' button and edit the font size and the position of the subs. I'm not sure what MainT (top?)and MainB(bottom? I have no idea) or Timer mean but just play around and I'm sure it'll start to make sense. Sorry I haven't used it yet so I'm only telling you what I've figured out so far. When you need to output the file, there doesn't seem to be an option for the .ssa format!?? I did see a button that allows you to feed the subs into the VirtualDub plugin from the Preview window (it's the little VDub icon in the upper right corner) but you need an NT based OS. You can try saving the new subs as .srt (for Subrip) and then use Subrip to open and convert them to .ssa again. Seems like a lot to do but it could work. Let me know how it goes.Happy to be here.
