Hi all,
I've got a TV show on two DVD+R's that was recorded by a friend using a set top DVD Recorder. The show is about 2hrs 30mins long and I'm trying to put it onto 1 DVD+R.
Here's what I've done so far:
1. Ripped the .vobs to the HDD using SmartRipper.
2. Opened both sets of .vobs in DVD2AVI.
3. Saved project to get a .d2v file and a .wav file of the whole show.
4. Opened the .d2v and .wav in TMPGEnc.
5. Encoded using the default DVD (PAL) Template in TMPGENC.
6. Loaded the new .mpg file into DVDit PE.
7. Put in my chapters.
8. Build DVD Folder.
9. Burned Using Nero.
This is the first time I've tried doing MPEG2. Everything works ok, except that playback is jerkier than the original.
The original .vobs are interlaced, could this be causing the problem?
What settings should I check in TMPGENC?
Thanks,
NiVZ.
