I'm trying to rip a movie, but when I doubleclick on smartripper, it says no ASPI-adapter available...what does that mean, and how can I fix it. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.

Windows does not ship with a valid ASPI layer. Often valid ASPI drivers come with bundled programs (Nero has it's own set). You'll need to install the drivers. Look to the left under tools, and search for (scroll down to):
Adaptec ASPI Drivers -
I would download and run "ForceASPI" and that will fix it. You can get ForceASPI from the tools section of this site for free.
