any good mpeg2 cards that are under $120? I could just install a minimal install of win98 on my win2k system

Are you talking about encoders or decoders? For decoders, there are lots. For (real time capture) encoders, forget it.

I was going on my memory of looking at local "Computer Papers". I don't actually use one but I was trying to help a fellow user.
