Second attempt at posting -- the first apparently never showed up. Ack!
I'm attempting to compile a handful of trailers and featurettes from three different movies onto one DVD-R.
I have successfully extracted the VOBs for the materials I want using DVDDecrypter 3.1.6.0. I did this in IFO mode splitting files by Cell ID (and in a separate attempt by Chapter ID). VOBs by themselves seem to be just fine.
I have moved all of the VOBs into one folder and renamed them as VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, and VTS_01_3.VOB.
At this point, the things I have done haven't worked. I've tried these approaches:
1) I've run IFO Edit on these files and created new IFOs. The disc stops after VOB 1.
2) I've tried merging all 3 VOBs into one VOB using VOBMerge. Again, the VOB stops playing where the original VOB 1 ends.
3) I've tried VOB Edit but didn't understand how to use it.
I know I need to basically edit the VOBs so that they will know to go to the next VOB, but I don't know how to do that. I've read a number of forum topics that get at the issue, but I couldn't find any of them that addressed my particular situation.
Anybody out there have an idea? Or perhaps can you point to a topic that I might not have seen?
Thanks in advance.
