When i want to convert a Divx-movie to MPEG, add subtitles, and convert it with settings on this site :
http://www.vcdhelp.com/subsvirtual.htm
the quality is very bad of the subtitles.
Sometimes 2 lines in 1, and sometimes a big line through the sub's.
What is going wrong ?? Or are my sub's not good ??

Maybe the sub file is corrupt.
Open the subtitle file in Notepad and check it:
Are text and the times ok? (So not same time on multiple lines)
Is the font size ok? check in the line starting with 'Style' after font name
