I'm pretty new to encoding to SVCD and i'm probably missing something pretty simple but here's my problem.
I've done several NTSC divx - SVCD conversions with no problem, the file i have now is PAL divx, and i've encoded the video by frameserving out of virtual dub to resize and add subs, open that with CCE 2.5 and encode just the video. when that's done i play that in WMP and the length is 1hr25 (same as the original divx), i do pulldown to get the framerate to 29.976, play the pulldown in WMP and the length is 1hr25 . I encoded the audio using tmpg with toolame to SVCD compliant and then multiplex with tmpg. Now the problem, multiplexed video is 1hr29(4 minutes longer than the original) but audio still plays at the same 1hr25 so massive audio sync problem. I tried binning all the files and starting again but getting the exact same problem, I also tried multiplexing with BBmpeg and the exact same problem.
Obviously i'm doing something wrong or missing something here but I really can't work out what. Would be grateful if somebody could point me in the right direction, thanks for any help![]()

PAL video is 25 fps, not 29,976, also, it does not use pulldown as far as I know. you must change the framerate and the speed of the audio
