hello everyone. yes, i am a virgin converter (that didn't sound the way it was supposed to).
anyway, i used asftools to convert .asf to .avi and .asf to .wav and i got the same sound results both times. the sound (both on .avi and .wav) echoes and is essentially impossible to decipher. it almost sounds as though 2 or 3 different sound tracks have been created and they overlap.
this doesn't seem to be a problem with the .asf source file because it sounds fine when i play it as an .asf. my goal here is to take sound from a video and be able to cut it into sound bites that i can burn to a cd. can anyone help me figure out how to remedy the problem?![]()
