    Well I never tried thisan dread the newbie files....
    I copied a dvd I rented to my hard drive. Its a vob file. I was wondering can I convert it somehow so that I can see it???
    I only have a dvd player combined with cd-rw.

    ALso I was wondering if its worth it to buy a dvd-rw....Can we actually copy teh entire dvd without loosing quality???

    Well I really asked this question because I have over 300 DVDs( all originals) and want to save a copy of them...( I travel a lot and they do get damaged). So therefore I just want to know if a movie I play on my dvd player in my computer can be copied if I buy a dvd burner. I dont want to pirate anything...this was only a test(the downloaded movie because it is of another region and was wondering if it would affect anything.)
    Anyway did not want seem illegal here.
