Problem with Rewinding/Forwarding on a DVD

hello everyone

i have a problem regarding forwarding/rewinding when i play a burned dvd on my standalone dvd player. it's a new problem i've encountered where the chapter search works fine but the forwarding/rewinding options are not available.

these are the programs i currently use:

1. decrypt and encode using dvd shrink v. 2.1
2. burn using recordnow dx v. 4.6

does anyone know what settings or any other instructions i need (using the above programs) in order for me to use the chapter search AND rewinding/forwarding features of my standalone dvd player?

What type of DVD stand-alone player do you have?
I have problems sometimes with FF and RR as well as jumping between title sets on my APEX-500W when I use +RW media. +R seems to work OK.

Have you tried your media in a different player?

Does it work OK on your computer? Or does it do the same thing.

DVDShrink 2.1 had a bug in that it prevented what you are trying to do -- that's why 2.2 was released within a few hours of that version being out.

You just had the misfortune of getting 2.1 -- you were just *too* quick <g>. Go back and download 2.2 and burn again and you'll be just fine (in the future you might want to frequent the DVDShrink forums, where this issue came up almost as soon as 2.1 was released).

yes I just found out today that the bug exist with DVDShrink 2.0 sometimes also. Annoying but I'll live, its fixed now I hear.
