    I am trying to burn an Mpeg file but when i drag into Nero..it checks it and gives the following message;

    The following problems were found:
    Stream encoding which is invalid for a [Super]Video CD.
    You are the given the option of turning off compliance or re-encoding the file. I know Nero will encode it but I was wondering if there is a faster way of doing this before I send it Nero to burn.

  2. You have 2 options,

    1. Ignore the warning and do not reencode thus creating an XVCD which may or may not play in your DVD player.

    2. Reencode and create a standard VCD. I would suggest using TMPGEnc for encoding though, as Nero is a crap encoder

    You can try VCDEasy which is free, you do the same thing, drag and drop the mpeg into it and it makes the vcd/svcd for you.

    Be sure to have the newest version of NERO. It was 5.5.10.28 last I checked.
    I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

  5. Hey you can try using tmpgenc's merge and cut tool tool, then at the top just make sure it re writes the header in supervcd, Nero will let you burn 820,000k kb,s = 786 mbs on a standard cdr 80 minute
    resolution will be 352 240 or 480 480
    just turn off standard encode an it should work... works perfect for me...
