  2. Hello,

What questions do you have? MenuEdit is basically self explanitory. Did you read the THREAD at Doom9's forum? It simply removes a button from a DVD menu. If you remove some 'extras' from a DVD, the button would remain and then the DVD would crash if you press the button. So, Dimad made the app to remove the button link in the DVD. The app is growing and new features are being added. Any more questions? Glad to help you out.

  5. telejorna,

Some menu's are small, but some are huge. A moving menu can be quite large, and even a few megabytes can be the difference in the rip fitting on a DVDr. So, to kill unused menu VOBs. First of all, menu's can be in any titleset, normally *_0.vob and sometimes they are in the VIDEO_TS.VOB.

The simplist way is using MenuEdit built in MPEG2 frame viewer, it shows you the actual video of the menu. So, if you are 100% sure you dont need the menu and that there ISNT a link from the DVD somewhere else to the menu you are about to delete, simply write down the VOB ID/ CELL ID of the segment of the menu, or its the entire menu, you can just delete the *_0.VOB file, if its only segments of the VOB, then use IFOedits MENU EXTRAS feature to remove sections of the menu. (by VOB ID / CELL ID).
Perhaps load up VoBrator and check out the VOB.

Or, you could use DVD2AVI to check out the Menu (*_0.vobs), you can preview the video and see what sections / VOBS to delete. Hope all this makes sense, if not, give a shout. We will help you out.

  6. MenuEdit 2.1.0 can be used to delete cells/vobs you don't need anymore.
