    Hi all.
I got a plextor 161040A and trying to burn a standard vcd (89 min)
When I press the write button in Nero 5.5.4.0 i reports
that there is not enough space to burn this compilation onto this medium. Please insert another medium that provides more space.
I have enabled overburn and I use Infiniti Compax 80Plus cd-r disc.
    Any suggestion ? Please.

Down grade to a previous version of nero if you can, something like version 5.5.2.4.

I had the same problem with the newest version of nero, trying to burn 85 minute film on a Mirror Max 90min+.

It done the same thing as happen to you, just spat out the cd saying that there wasn't enough room on the CD.

As soon as i down graded, it still comes up with the no enough room message but it gives you the option to continue and overburn the CD.

Seems like the makers of nero Don't want there software to work with these new 90-99 minutes now.

As your using Plextor, you will be only able to burn out to 89.57, no way around this (what a bummer). Using a 12 speed Plextor myself and was able to burn 89 min movie to a min cd no problem

    Hope that helps ya

  4. Nero currently forces overburn off as a default for
many cd writers. To reactivate, change the nero settings
in the registery as shown at the link below. While I could not get my old Sony 920s to work, I have had success with other brands.

    luck!
