    I've got a Sony TRV19, and it looks amazing. The 16x9 feature is great. Using only the A/V cables (not the S-Video cable) the picture looks 20 times better on my HDTV than my old Hi8 tapes do. With S-Video it looks about 10 times better than with the A/V cables. In my opinion, for audio/video, you can't really go wrong with Sony, when it comes to quality.
