Over the past few weeks I've played with both types of Meritlines A4 sized DVD case inserts.
Both once you get cover XP arranged properly copy an entire dvd cover with nothing cut off. (YAY) Also both punch out along their preferated edges fine, but the glossys are way easier to do it with.
Now for the down sides:
The Glossy ones give the most awsome pictures I've ever seen, even better then any photopaper I've ever used, BUT the coating that makes this happen is very sticky and looks ulgy under the plastic on the DVD case.
The Matte ones are not coated at all that we can tell, my early uses of Matte paper tell me there should be SOMETHING to them, but instead they are just thick stock paper. Once put into a DVD case they look ok I guess. Also I noticed a few places of odd coloring after printing on them, I think it was ink splatter which can sometimes happen if the paper doesn't absorbe the ink well, but they were very very minor.
I would consider using the matte inserts again, they cost like $10US for 50, which is pretty decent IMHO.
Hope this helps someone.
