I really like its features, but when I author the created mpeg2 files from Procoder they play very fast, regular ,fast, regular. Every few seconds this happens, and the sound speeds up along with it. Now this DVD will play on my computer fine though, its the standalones that do this. Any Suggestions. TMPGnec did not do this. Im authoring with DVDlab and MF2. procoder bit rate is like 8500.
Thanks,
Dominic

I dabbled with Procoder some months ago, and as I recall- the symptoms you describe were caused by the audio track that Procoder produced as an elemental stream. I got around this by simply ripping the audio track only from the original AVI file with TMPGnec (very fast procedure- unlike A/V rendering, ripping the audio only stream takes just a few minutes for a one hour AVI) . Use the video file from Procoder and the audio track from TMPGnec for your two E.S. files and author the DVD with IfoEdit or Spruce. I know it seems like a lot of work, but I found the output quality of the video from Procoder- better then most other encoders, so the few extra minutes to rip the audio were worthwhile.
