    Hi,
    This question is probably asked before somewhere on the forum, but I couldn't find the answer.
    So can somebody help me out?
    I want to create a DVD with still pictures.
    What is the maximum resolution I can use?

    720x480 for NTSC
    and720x576 for PAL

    Though output is 720x480, many authoring packages insist that inputted images be 720x540 for DVD. And in the case of Adobe Premiere, 640x480. Read the manual of your software packages (sometimes the HELP file have them too).

    Thats the maximum resolution, but experts follow the chart below to create menus that are not strectched when convert to MPEG assets

    so use the number s below instead in order to reach MAXIMUM RESOULTION without re sizing and encoding artifacts



    thats for creation..then you resize with PHOTSHO at 72 dpi and output something that your authoring can use
