    i wish it would go mainstream, though. alot of these players i've never heard of. it would be really nice if dvd players included mpeg-4 support

    I say just build your own Video-PC if you need Divx capability . It'll be probably be cheaper, and it'll be easier to upgrade with the latest software player, codecs or hardware.

    In my place you can buy a "Made in China" (Nextbase and xenon) DVD player for about $80-100. If Divx standalone player goes out prices will be the same. Quality and reliability is fine.
