When I try to convert the audio from 44000 to 48000 (to make DVD compliant as I want to build menus and so forth) on my mpeg files i always get an audio sync problem, the audio gradually gets out of sync. Now I have noticed that when I demux the original mpeg and play the individual files, the audio file time is always shorter than the video time. Although the original mpeg is always in sync. The mpegs are tv caps and I always get this problem. When I load the mpeg up in Vdub, I check out the frame rate menu and it has the option "Change so video and audio durations match" where a new framerate is indicated that is faster than the original 29.970fps, eg 30.033.
Is there any way I can get these files to sync properly?
