Finally a cheap player that will allow the use of RAM disks. Any reviews of the Panasonic DVD-S35 player? Mostly, any problems playing RAM disks?

I can't say anything about -RAM usage, but this player supports all the major DVD formats and it doesn't mind cheap media. Damn good features for a sub-$80 price range.

Also 2 others in this line. Both(?) changers.

A friend of mine just got one and the VERY nice thing is that it has played every DVD-R disc we have tried including discs made on stand alone DVD records as well as computre burners (using a variety of authoring programs).

It is nice to know that this player will apparently play any DVD-R disc ... peace of mind

Sorry but I've never tried DVD-RAM or any type of DVD+R/RW discs.

    P.S.
I'm thinking of getting one of the changer models for myself.

I own one, and the DVD-RAM feature was the main reason I purchased it. It plays all my DVD-RAM discs just fine.
