I'm trying to install the LAME MP3 codec to use for encoding audio in DivX files. After downloading and unzipping it, I have numerous documentation files, LAME.EXE, and LAME_ENC.DLL. I copied the DLL file to both \Windows\System and \Windows\System32, but VirtualDub was unable to locate/use the codec. I then rebooted my system, knowing that some files are not recognized by the system until after a restart. Unfortunately, I still cannot access LAME. Any ideas?

get this

or from here

and right click on the LameACM.inf in the folder ACM and select Install to install it.
