Hey board, this is probably a newb question, (and I posted in the audio forum, with no success) but its been a while since I've captured. I've got an All in wonder 7500. I recently got a new motherboard (with onboard audio, same as before) and upgraded to XP.
So tonight I was trying to do some capturing, with Virtua dub. Video is captured fine, but audio is horrible. The audio is there, but its under a loud buzzing sound (similiar to the snow sound on a tv)
I thought maybe the mic or line in volume was too loud but that isnt the case.
Even unplugging the audio rca cable, still gives me this snow sound, in a video capture. (I tried dvd & vhs sources) Could this be a video or audio problem? I downloaded the most recent capture drivers from ATI. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Checked all of the connections, still getting the same thing. Loud 'snow' audio over the captured audio. Any other ideas?

Well ive checked connections, and updated drivers for the soundcard, and till getting this snow scratching sound. I plugged the microphone in, and just let it sit there silent, and i can see the equilizer recording this scratching sound. Even if i unplug the microphone, and record in windows sounds recorder, still the scratching sound. Im running out of ideas....
