Hi All,
I'm trying to use a DC30 to transfer VHS tapes to DVD. It's going good so far except I can't properly view the avi's vdub creates. When I try to play the avi using vdub, the audio is very choppy, it cuts in and out but the video seems ok. If I extract the .wav file and playback with winmedia player the audio is fine. Also, when I run the .avi through TMPGEenc, the audio and video in the resulting .mpg is fine. I've had the same bad audio using virtualvcr too. I've tried all the settings listed at www.doom9.org but still no luck.Per the DC30 manual, I also turned read ahed optimization off and added the line "ForceLazyOff=D:\" to my system.ini file. Any other suggestion?

Thanks!
