  1. Just picked up an apex 1500 and from what I've read so far I'll probably return it - However - My question - I have no dvds to test the unit although I have a couple of what I believe to be vcd's: mpeg-3 audio , vid comp DIVXMPG4V3, when I load all I see is a menu with two folders "root" . Can I play these? I can't seem to access, I should point out that when I preview the file type on my computer, they play just fine. Thanks

  2. never heard any complaints about apex...i have 1 and they will play almost anything....and r the favorites among hackers....also to play mp3s u have to burn the disk in a certain way...i have done this but i forgot what way so search around the net or the dvd players list in on this webpage..(thats where i got help) but dont be too quick to get rid of that apex!!!!
