I'm just about out of my G03's and was looking for some 2x media to replace them with. I came across these True 2x Maxells http://www.allmediaoutlet.com/P-DVD-R-2X-maxell.html and was interested to know if anyone has had any experience with this particular product. All in all, I have heard great things about Maxell discs, but is allmediaoutlet selling a cheaper, lower quality, and maybe even phony discs?
Also, it appears that something is a little fishy regarding the price on the 1000 pk. It says $1.15/disc, but if you do the math, that's not quite right. If anyone has had any success with these on a pioneer 105, and these are legit Maxells I'm gonna have to jump on this deal.

Though we are not 100% sure if they are true maxells I can tell you some people get some and they work fine. Others however get bunk ones... personally I'd suggest looking somewhere else.

I've had trouble with them, more than one friend of mine has had trouble, and I've read other accounts in various user forums of people having trouble with them. Maybe the retail branded media is better, but I bought some from Meritline and the quality is very uneven in my Sony burner.

yeah, I figured it was probably too good to be true. Thanks for the heads up, guys.
