    i am quite board of waiting 5 hours for Nero to convert my 800mb svcd movie to vcd ( i have dvd player which only plays vcd )
    is there a faster converter for Nero
    such as a beter version of the Wnaspi32.dll driver or some other software which is faster

    Have you tired the VCD Header Trick with your DVD Player? That would be a lot faster than re-encoding the whole video...

    thats true.
    but it dont work with all dvds and its the same for mine
    i forgot to mention i have a p3 500. i know its old and crapy but 5 hours is kinda taking the pee.

    Since you'd be going from SVCD to VCD (I assume standard VCD, not XVCD) you could download TMPGEnc, and the MPEG2 Plug-in, and it shouldn't take 5 hours to convert, and you'll get better results than you get with Nero. Then just burn the file with Nero.
