fuji dvd+RW won't play in sony nc600

I have tried both compatability modes on my dvd100i. I have tried the 1.02, UDF dvd-rom method in nero. I have let ulead movie maker2 author and burn. I have tried autoring with ifoedit, and burning. I have created the dvd folder with ulead movie maker 2, and burn with nero, both dvd-video, and UDF dvd-rom. I've tried svcd files on a dvd witht the dvdpatch trick. ive rencoded svcd mpg to dvd mpg. This is my first week with my burner, while im waiting on my 200i. Can someone plz tell me a sure fire way to test all this out. I am sure if i can get something to play on my standalone, I can work from there. The compatabilty list, says my standalone will play all dvd formats. In the media list fuji is not listed but most of the cheapo brands are. And btw what happens is as soon as the dvd starts to play the screen says invalid, and goes to next disc on platter.

to add, I have tried authoring with ulead movie 2, and buring with HP's burning software. No luck there either.
