I have a movie in the Xvid format.
When played on Windows Media Player 9 and some other players I have, the movie looks like Jello, when the movie starts, half of the picture is green, when you get further into the movie the charaters are made of jello and when they move it's heavily destorted as though they are wading through jello.
Why is this?
Can it be corrected by using a different codec for playing?
Or is the file corrupt beyond repair?
The movie looks like this, if it helps:
Thanks.

Probably just codecs required.

Yeah, its definately the codecs. I had tat problem with a few movies but it got sorted as soon as I got the up to date codecs. In my case, the movie was an Xvid also.
