what has happened:
When DVD2AVI made a D2V file of collected VOBs on my computer and wav file to be finalized by me, it just so happen to make the wav file of the movie came out to be 1.4Gbs. Now this only leaves about 3GBS for video on a DVD+R, and thus the biggest bitrate that it can hold is only 3,000kb (i want it to be around 5-6Kkbs). Is there any way that I can sacrifice quality on the wav file to allow more room for the video (m2v) file? PLease help!
Eric

Re-encode your .WAV file to .AC3 (using BeSweet) or MPEG 1, LAYER II (.MPA) audio. MP2 audio (that's MPEG2) is not a valid format for the NTSC world ('tis for PAL, 'tho).
An .AC3 file will be approximately 15-20% of a .WAV (or LPCM) audio track.
You must be doing PORN! Most of my... I mean most of my neighbors porn stuff has LPCM audio tracks - which are, as you mentioned, huge. -

Ok well it's not porn it's The Matrix (1st one, and yes i do have the second one too!!!
). Anyways I tried using an ac3 format instead and TMPEnc doesnt want to combine the two m2v video and ac3 audio files (ditto with the wav file) once it's done encoding. any more tips?
