I'm using the trial download of DVDlab.

    http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/

I really like the cool things it does, but after using the automatic scene detection method for chaptering....just how do I review it to see if I like it's choices for the chapter points?

Does anybody know how I can do that, please?
    "Signature"......
I use a Dazzle capturing system that Only lets me capture into Mpeg. So that is all I work with. I never do any DV/AVI video.....

  2. Add a scene selection menu and let it automatically detect the chapters.
this will place a thumbnail image for each chapter point on the menu.
this will give you an idea as to where the scene detection has placed the chapter points.

or compile the disc, then use a program like PowerDVD to watch the compiled dvd to check the chapter placement.

if you don't like it, make notes, correct and re-compile until it's right.

To verify the chapter points selected in DVD Lab: simply left click on the chapter point in film strip mode. The actual chapter point will be displayed (as a still) in the preview window. To change the thumbnail for the chapter point on the menu, click the chapter point - to get in the approx area of the movie - then locate the actual frame that you want to display (with the play or frame +/- function). Left click the scene in the preview and drag it into the thumbnail (in your scene selection menu) to change the thumbnail.
