  1. Hi,

I found a guide for this on the mainpage but its too complicated.Does someone know an easy way ?
And when I convert Pal to NTSC do I need to use 23,xx frames or 29?

Please search the forum for pal to ntsc conversion as DJ RUmpy has explained this excellantly many times

    In extremely short detail ,

    Join all your mpg's.

I would demultiplex them. (unless you're using TMPG)

Run the m2v's through dvd2avi and create a d2v project file.

Load the d2v into fitcd to make an avisynth script, or into TMPG to re-encode it to either SVCD/DVD ntsc output.

TMPG, if you make sure your output is set to 29.97 fps will convert it all for you.

If you went the avisynth / CCE route, .......

you'll convert the video stream to 23 fps in your avisynth script

    AssumeFPS(23.976,False)

, then run pulldown on it to get it flagged to 29 fps

Then your audio you'll convert in BeSweet down to 23 fps (enabling the conversion of 25 fps to 23 fps)

Either keep them as ES for DVD authoring or mux them as a PS for a SVCD

    Done
