  1. I am using ulead dvd moviefactory, i have encoded using tmpgenc, i have two files, one is mpeg the other is audio(i have done the audio seperately using virtualdub). I am following the tutorial and it tells me to go to the video source, so i have gone to the mpeg file, the problem is is that the guide tells me nothing about the audio file, does it add the audio automatically?

  3. you could simply mux (join) the audio and video files together to get a full mpeg file using say tmpgenc (FILE...MPEG TOOLS....mux)

You didn't necessarily have to encode the audio separately if you were encoding it as mp2. I have read in one of the guides though that you'll get better quality audio encoding it separately with another program, as TMPGEnc isn't the best at compressing audio. Or if you wanted to encode the audio in a format other than mp2, say ac3, you would have to have encoded it separately.

  7. and then encode it again to be able to write to dvd? this seems pointless in encoding it in the first place.
i want to mux it and tempgenc would not do it, says that it cannot compress pcm im really stuck now.
