You might want to be a bit more specific about your needs if you really want an intelligent answer...

If cost is your sole consideration, I once purchased the Belkin VideoBus II USB capture device ( http://www.synchrotech.com/product-usb/video_12.html ). You can probably still get it for $80.

I do not know if it supports OS X, as I have not used it since I upgraded from OS9. The software that came with it was buggy and difficult to setup, but once I got it going it did work for 352X240 resolution imports.

The best use I ever put it to was last summer I took a 6 week tour of the 8 Western states. I brought with me my DirecTV receiver and a portable dish. When camping, I could setup the dish and connected the video out of the receiver to my laptop thru the Belkin device and watch DirecTV on my laptop. Sure got me some complimentary camping dinners at campsites when I put on the Major League ballgames...

Maybe used/new DV firewire devices? Just not Razzle (dazzle) products.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

It is currently available from PC Club both in store and online for only $59

Official info from the ADS Tech website
