i cant convert xvid with tmpgenc

hi i really need sum help when i go to convert a xvid to mpg it converts the first few seconds then i get this message
AT ADDRESS 000004B8 READ ERROR OCCURRED AGAINST ADDRESS 000004B8

any help would be great cheers !!!!

Have you scanned video stream for errors in Virtual Dub?

i have but i do not no how to delete the bad frames

First, you need to open your error log. Find the first bad frame, or group of frames, if they are all in sequence. Move the slider to just before the first bad frame. Use the double arrow button to one frame before it.

There are two buutons to the left of the frame indicator. Press the left one. Now move the slider near the end of the group of bad frames or use the double arrow button to move to the next frame if you are deleting just on frame.

Now of the two buttons left of the frame indicator, press the right one. Now press the Delete key. Repeat until all your bad frames are deleted. Select Video-->Compression and select your codec. Select File-->Save as AVI, name the new video file, and select OK.

You will lose both quality and time rencoding the avi in vdub. For audio and video, set to "direct stream copy" after cutting out the badd frames to save yourself several hours!
