  1. Whenever i try to convert most of my avi's to vcd, in tmpgenc, it thinks the files are like 3-4hours long even though they're roughly 90mins. So when i try to convert it, it will only let me use a bitrate of like 350-450~ to fit on a 700mb/80min cd. Does anyone know how to fix this? i've look around and can't find anything.

    thanks

  2. it happened to me once when trying to convert Ghost In The Shell - Standalone Complex. Some of the avi files were encoded using VBR audio which messes with the TMPGEnc conversion. I opened the file in Virtualdub, and it repairs the VBR audio to CBR which I then save the avi and convert to mpeg-1 using TMPGEnc.

Hope that helps. Check the avi info first using AVIcodec...

  3. thanks that helped me.

I just save the wav file (which only takes about 2mins max in vdub) then in tmpgenc i select the video with the new audio wav and it detects the right length, thanks man.
