  1. I've tried a number of methods. I extracted the audio using virtual Dub on both 44,000 and 48000 and then used TMPGENC to format into an MPEG file, NTSC or whatever it is. I try playing the file and it appears perfect with video and audio in sync. I then use DVD MovieFactory 2.0 and create a menu and such. Anyway, once I play the CD in my JVC DVD player it plays but has no sound at all. Yet, if I hit a mode where it plays at 1.5 speed, all of a sudden I get audio. How could this be?

Also...I've tried just putting the div X movie file into MovieFactory and did all the encoding through that and it came out working and playing fine on my DVD player but the audio seems to have about a 4 second delay or so with the video. If you know the solution to either of my problems please offer suggestions.

    Much appreciated.

  2. I figured out the problem. It was actually on the DVD player's end. I had an alternate audio setting on, and I switched it to Dolby Digital/PCM I believe. Still it was strange that sound worked at 1.5 speed.

On a side note, the video is fairly jumpy but I did encode with TMPGENC. Are there any settings that can improve this?
