  1. I've been using it for a year with VirtualDub, and it worked great. I used the BTWinCap driver. Suddenly all I would get was a green screen, but i could hear sounds. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, and it doesnt work. But i did put it in a different computer and it works fine. i dunno whats wrong, please help.

Sounds like a system restore may be what you need. If you meant by unistalling/reinstalling, you meant the card, you should make sure your drivers are uninstalled and reinstalled as well.

Uninstalling something doesn't neccessarily delete it. You need to manually delete the INI files associated with the card. For my 'BTWIN' experience, it was 4 files. Unfortunately the actual name varies from computer to computer.

  5. Ok, I reloaded and everything works fine again. But now I have a mono audio wintv because i lent my dbx-stereo one to a friend so I'll need to get that one back. I'm starting a new project, i want to convert the Indiana Jones trilogy from VHS to some digital format. I was thinking of using CVD since i can get better bitrates and squeeze more on a disc. I was wondering if i would have any trouble capturing for 2 hours straight with my CPU specs. The capture settings I'll use are:
    352x480 resolution
    YUY2 video format
    HuffYuv compression
    44110khz WAV 172kbps audio

and i have NTFS HDD's so thats not a problem...if anyone has any advice let me know.
