Please can someone tell me if they've seen this problem before...
I have a .avi file that is 25fps and encoded with Xvid. I convert this to mpeg2 using TMPG and the stardard DVD PAL template.
The playback in the resulting mpeg is slighly jerky, as if a poor conversion has been done to 25fps, although TMPG should have done no conversion because the source file was already 25fps.
When I convert DivX3 or DivX5 avi's using the same approach I get perfect results.
So is there a special configuration I need for converting Xvids with TMPG?
Thanks for you help...
