I was wondering what everyone uses to reduce noise in TMPGEnc. I would like what number you put for the Still Picutre/Range/Time Axis. I'm capturing stuff from my TV and wanted to know what's the best setting to reduce noise. It's not animation, btw.

I use the still picture filter and do not mess with the others. It does give you a good preview as you are adjusting, just watch carefully as you adjust. Also, I have had good results on caps from VHS, enabling this, while also checking on the HIG QUALITY box below. With the Deinterlace filter set to DOUBLE as well.
