I just bought an ADVC-100 box yesterday and everything appears to have gone OK, I captured a test clip today and it plays back fine but when I load it (the AVI) into a trail version of CCE and encode to to an MPG it has CANOPUS in dot letters across the top. The letters wer not the the original AVI
Question is why would the maker of my hardware be emblasoned over an encoded mpg2 file with a bit of software that I assume has nothing to do with CCE?
Or does it...?
Thanks in advance...

the two have nothing to do w/ each other - search the forums as this was reported previously - the trial CCE has it's own watermark but seems to be picking up the canopus logo - the watermark is coming from your CCE transcoding, not from your advc100
