  1. Asking for help spent 1 week and countless hours. I have a 700 Mb AVI. File that I’m trying to burn to DVD to play on my DVD player. I stripped the wave using Virtuadub full processing mode and save the file. Then using Tmpgenc to make the file DVD compliant using the Avi as the video source and the wave as the audio source. Then used mpeg tools on Tmpgenc and used simple Demultplex and save the m2v and the mpa. Tried authoring using Tmpgenc Authoring and Ifoedit. The only result I get is a movie with video but no audio. I’ve spent countless hours this week and used the guides with no success.

    Thanks in advance

  4. Was you able to play the separate audio in media player etc or not.

  5. You could try putting a VIDEO_TS folder there and AUDIO_TS folder. Some times disks don't play sound without both. Just a thought.
Keep going till you get it right!!!

If the orig audio on the avi was ac3 then just making it a wav wont cut it, u need to do more on the ac3 file.

  7. Depends what you are using. I use Ulead VideoStudi 6.0 from AVI to DVD-R and it works great.
