    does anybody know how to convert an avi file which is xvid encoded to an mpeg or vcd/svcd.

    I did my first xvid conversion the other dayI made sure that all my codecs were installed and used Dvd2Svcd actuall when you use that program it switches modes and is called AVI2SVCD
    How long could we maintain? I wondered. How long until one of us starts raving and jabbering at this boy? What will he think then?

    Please do not cross post. And please try post in right forum, it says no conversion in the s(vcd) forum and in the advanced forum it says no divx/xvid to. Use the newbie/general forum if you don't know where to post. I'm moving this one.

    keytotime, go to the GUIDES section (top left of this site), and select DIVX to SVCD (or whatever format your converting to). The answers your looking for are there.

    Baldrick, kudos on the new guides navigator. Much easier to find things...
